HANNOVER, GERMANY, 16 September 2024 – PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) and IVECO have redefined heavy-duty transportation with the launch of Urania Next 0W-16, the first 0W-16 SAE grade engine oil specifically designed for heavy-duty vehicles. This product has the lowest viscosity for heavy-duty trucks and will be on showcase at the IVECO booth during IAA Transportation 2024, a leading industry exposition for logistics, commercial vehicles, and transport, held in Hannover from 17-22 September 2024.
The collaboration between PLI and IVECO was instrumental in developing Urania Next 0W-16. Through rigorous joint research and development, the two companies created a lubricant delivering exceptional performance and efficiency, particularly for heavy-duty trucks.

Designed specifically for IVECO’s S-Way, T-Way, and X-Way models equipped with the XCursor 13 engine, Urania Next 0W-16 offers unmatched fuel efficiency due to its low viscosity formulation, reducing friction and lowering fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Its advanced Ultra Low Ash technology enables impressive oil drain intervals of 150,000km, even with bio-component fuels, minimising maintenance costs and downtime.
