Frankfurt, 10 September 2018 – PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) will showcase its winning products and fluid technology, PETRONAS Syntium with °CoolTech™ and PETRONAS Urania with ViscGuard™ for automotive and commercial vehicles respectively, at the biennial Automechanika from 11-15 September 2018.
Visitors (To hall 9.1 / Stand C69) to will get a chance to learn more about the latest PETRONAS Syntium with °CoolTech™ range of lubricants — the Syntium 7000 0W-16 and Syntium 5000 5W-30 as well as the premium commercial engine oil PETRONAS Urania with ViscGuard™.
PETRONAS Syntium 7000 0W-16 with °CoolTech™ is an ultra-low viscosity motor oil with exceptional heat dispersion capacity that prevents engine damage by protecting the components from wear and tear caused by high temperatures; delays oil thickening by preventing oxidation at high temperatures to ensure optimum lubrication of engine components; and ensures optimum engine performance by fighting against the accumulation of harmful deposits caused by excessive overheating in extreme driving conditions.
The new PETRONAS Syntium 5000 DM 5W-30 with °CoolTech™ provides improved protection for engines under extreme and demanding driving conditions.
The lubricant and formulated with fully synthetic and environmentally friendly engine oil technology suitable for high-performance Mercedes-Benz, GM, Renault, BMW, PSA and VW vehicles with gasoline and diesel engines that are equipped with exhaust gas after treatment system as well as emission control devices such as diesel particulate filters and catalytic converters.
PETRONAS Syntium 5000 DM 5W-30 also fits modern electronic fuel-injected and multi-valve technology engines, turbochargers or superchargers and is compatible with the use of biofuels.
PETRONAS Urania with ViscGuard™ is the premium engine oil for commercial vehicles designed to provide effective protection against build-up of engine deposits and prevent abrasive wear and oxidation. The oil viscosity is optimally preserved and ensures long driving times for drivers and companies.
Tests showed that PETRONAS Urania with ViscGuard™ had up to 89%* higher oil viscosity resistance compared to current industry standards. And that under strong soot conditions. The carbon deposits also showed up to 50% * improved value. The lubricant properties remained optimal.
